Team Siargao (Day 3)

Blogging now about our day 3 in Siargao. :) If you haven't read our Day 1 and Day 2 in Siargao yet, please click the links na lang po. Hehe. Thank you! 😀

Our 3rd day in Siargao was dedicated to surfing day, na muntik pang hindi matuloy kasi namamahalan ako sa presyo ng Kermit. Haha. Again, if you're going to Siargao, you are free to a lot of options. You can canvass around the area for cheaper sufing rates.

Going back.. surfing in Siargao costs P500.00 each, for one hour. And that includes the following: surfboard rental and surf instructor, which is strictly to be used only by ONE person. Unfortunately, it cannot be divided into 2 - like 30 minutes for the first person and another 30 minutes for the second person. Unlike in La Union or in Baler, where in, it's only P350.00 per person with the same inclusions na pwede mo pang i-split into 2 yun. Kamote. Anyway, we're talking about Siargao, the surfing capital of the Philippines. And maybe that's why the price is that high. *wink*

So, the usual.. we started our day by having breakfast in Kermit restaurant.

And this was yummy breakfast - pancake forever! Hehe. I love the presentation of the food. OMG! 😍😍😍

Then, I decided to take a picture of Kermit's Chill Out area while it's not yet crowded.

After some discussions regarding the terms and conditions of our surfing, ito naaa! We're finally goinggg! We'll be riding a tricycle to bring us at the surfing point. It's P20.00 per head and the tricycle could fit 8 passengers.

We'll be surfing in Jacking Horse, which is well-known for its friendly waves. Best recommended for beginners!

And it's just beside the beautiful Cloud 9.

Jacking Horse was just a very few meters away from the drop off point of the tricycle.

Mga 2-3 minutes lang siguro, hello Jacking Horse na. 🏄🏽‍♀️
Pre-surfing picture with the inang reyna. Hehe. My sister and her boyfriend chose to surf on a different spot by the way, that's why they weren't in the picture. They surfed in Giwan by the way, which is mala-paraiso daw as a lot of people says.

With Kuya Loloy, my instructor from Gwapitos.

Going now to the surfing point.

DONA'S FIRST ATTEMPT: FAIL! 😅

In-enjoy ko na lang yung pag-dapa mga bes. Hahaha. One of the surf instructors has offered to take pictures and videos of us, that's why we have surfing pictures. 😬And it's not for free of course, hehe. It's P100.00/head, which is not bad I think. 😬The camera he used was provided by us by the way.

Meanwhile, here's my boyfriend enjoying surfing. AS USUAL. Haha.

Love this shot of him. Hehe. ❤️

Go, Love! 😚

Then, me! Super happy na lagi akong nakakatayo sa pag-surf. Haha. What an achievement for me, really! Lels.

Here's EJ, chill na chill lang. Hihi.

Then the surfing aftermath. Sorry, I didn't post all of our pictures! Laughtrip kasi. Haha.

Then, group picture with our Gwapitos surf instructors. You're maybe wondering if I just invented that "Gwapitos", well.. I didn't. Apparently, that's what the surf instructors of Kermit are called.

After the group photo sesh, charot! Here's a picture again with Kuya Loloy who patiently taught me how to surf well. Hehe. Maraming salamat ulit, sir!

Then another group picture from my cellphone.

Bidding goodbye to Jacking Horse. ☹️Until next time! I love it here! Swabe lang kasi yung alon.

Coconut trees in Jacking Horse.

And kodak moments with our surfing photographer/videographer, Kuya Dun/Don. Hehe.

One more glimpse of the beautiful Cloud 9.

After surfing, we decided to have some smoothie/poke bowls in the famous Siargao's Shaka. It was just a few meters away from Cloud 9 pero nag-tricycle pa kami. Epiccc! Sayang pamasahe! Hindi kasi namin alam eh. 😞

Anyway.. here are some contact numbers that might help you with your future travel to Siargao. Hihi.

View across Shaka and it's just so relaxing! 😍

Ayan.. parang natatanaw ko na yung kanto ng Cloud 9. Haha.

Here's what it looks like inside Shaka.

Waiting outside Shaka, in their veranda to be specific.

Here's my order: Cloud 9 Kook (Banana, Peanut Butter, Cacao & Coconut Milk + Nutty Granola)

Mama's fruit bowl on the left which I forgot what it's called. But it has Watermelon, Mango & yogurt.

I forgot to take a picture of EJ's bowl. ☹️But it had a lot of berries in it. Hehe. On another note, here's a picture of the skeletal tricycle that we rode, going back to Kermit. LOL.

Touched down, Kermit! Rest mode muna in our veranda.

Then here's a picture of the sofa bed from our Kermit House na kinuha at binalik rin nung manager ng Kermit without saying why he was getting it. To think that we rented the whole house and basta-basta na lang sya kumukuha ng gamit from the house that we paid for. Kupal moves lang. On the brighter side, nagpaalam naman sya na may kukunin sya but he didn't say which stuff and why. Nagulat na lang kami, yung sofa bed na yung kinukuha nya. Pagbalik nya, di man lang nya inayos yung pagkakalagay. Kaka-high blood!!! 😡

Anyway, I've let it pass already. But I'll be forever calling him "Kupsikels". Hahaha.

Here's my early dinner food by the way, Risotto al Tartufo -  Italian rice with truffle cream and parma ham. Masarap ba? Masarap! Pero naumay ako. Hehe.

Then buy 1 take 1 cocktails until 7PM. Yay! Pinacolada - Lemonada- Mojito.

And this is Kermit's bestselling cocktail, the Mojito.

Sorry.. but there's the last picture for this post already. We basically just chilled out during our last night in Siargao by having some drinks & food while chatting with each other.

After finishing our dinner and drinks, we headed back to our hotel room/house and called it a night.

So, there you go, peepel! Standby for my 4th and last post about our Siargao trip. Thank you for reading and I'll see you again soon! 💚
