Exploring The Beauty Of Bali (Day 4)

It's kinda sad to blog about our last day in Bali. But that is life! Vacations do come to an end. 😉 So, to share about our last day in Bali. Here's what we did..

DAY 4 ITINERARY:

1.) went to Uluwatu Temple
2.) went to Padang Padang Beach
3.) checked in Gravity
4.) went home 🏠

As we're about to spend our last morning in Villa Matahari, we woke up pretty early to catch the sunrise. Also, to take pictures again in the villa. Hindi na nagsawa sa pictures? Hahaha.

Kung kailan last day, dun lang kami nakapag-order ng in-house breakfast. Gagaling rin eh! Haha. Pero pinaka-magaling talaga yung organizer eh. AKO YUN! Hahaha.

Oh well.. this is Villa Matahari's Big Breakfast which is at P250.00. It's unlimited bread by the way. Hihi.

I also took a picture of their mega spicy sauce! Try this brand if ever you're in Bali. 🌶 You're welcome!

After having breakfast, our daily photoshoot has of course followed. Haha.

And here's my sister modelling again. *wink*

Also, my friend, Lyle. Haha. So sexy naman these ladies! 💕
Then we packed up after our photoshoot. Haha. Well, we literally packed our stuff as it's our last day in Bali already and later at midnight, it'll be our flight going home. Huhu. We're not ready to leave Bali just yet but hanggang 4 days lang ang murang fare, so huwag ng ano. Hahaha.

We bidded goodbye to the lovely helpers of Villa Matahari. They were always keeping the villa clean no matter how much messy we leave it. Hihi.

Funny that the ate on my left's name is Dona/Donna as well. Hehehe. And ain't she looked so cute doing that peace sign? Hihi.
Moving on, the first item on our itinerary was to visit Uluwatu Temple. And the entrance fee there is P150.00 only. There's also a parking fee there which is only P25.00 I think.

For the tourists visiting Uluwatu Temple, it is required to wear a cover up if you're wearing a shorts, a skirt or a dress that is above the knee. Don't worry, you don't have to bring one as it's already provided in their ticket booth area. Also, may we all be aware that there lots of monkeys living in the vicinity of Uluwatu Temple. The setting of the place is a forest on a cliff. And probably that's why those monkeys live there. Monkeys are naturally aggressive, so if you're wearing sunglasses or eating something, they'll do anything to get it from you. So.. be extra careful here! I was so afraid the entire time actually. But my sister said that monkeys do sense fear from a person. So better not act like one. And I tell you, it was really hard! Hahaha.

Enough of the talk and let me take you to the place now.

There are these walls where you can enjoy viewing the sky and ocean. Hayyy. What a beautiful sight! 😍

And it felt like walking in the Great Wall Of China. Hehe.

It was also a struggle taking pictures here. That is, if you want to have a better background because you have to step on the wall. Haha. Look at my mom holding me. BAHAHA! Thank you, Mama! You're the best! Hehe.
And here's the result. LOL.

We also noticed that there's an elevated area here in Uluwatu which we noticed while walking in the walls. That's why we went there in thought that there might be another temple.

It was super hot that day and this couple almost didn't leave this place by taking millions of pictures. JIRITS! Hindi ko gets yung iisang lugar lang naman tapos sandamakmak pa shots nila.

That's why I just roamed around and spotted this arena-like place.
Then finallyyy! The couple was gone and it's our turn already! Yayyy!

The view there is so much better. Good thing we went.

It was just bad that nobody was there to pick these trashes up. Maybe the monkeys did this. Well.. I don't really know.
Afterwards, we just continued walking until the end of the wall (wall na talaga ang tawag ko. haha!), hoping to see something special but there wasn't. We just realized that.. inikot lang pala namin yung half nung place. Hahaha.

Anyway, we haven't been to the real Uluwatu Temple yet since it's upstairs. That's why we decided to just visit it before finally leaving.

Again, the view there is just sooo beautiful! Huhuhu. Dear God, You are just amazing! 😍

And I think, this was the temple already, but it's currently locked. So, we'll just take a picture of it from the outside.

And here are some more of the things that you'll see there:

There are 2 stairs going up to Uluwatu Temple. And this was one of it.
We liked it so much! That's why me and my mom took a picture here. Haha.

Before leaving, my sister spotted a monkey and she took a lot of picture of him. Haha.

This was a restroom sign and I just thought that my readers would want to know what "ladies" mean in Balinese. Mehehe.
So, on our 2nd itinerary, we went to Padang Padang Beach. There was also an entrance fee there. And if I can remember correctly, it only costs around P75.00 each person.

This was its entrance and you have to walk down to reach the beach.

After 5-7 minutes of walking, welcome to Padang Padang Beach! 🏖

The beach could have been beautiful if it wasn't this dirty. It's just sad that nobody cared to pick up those bushes or what not.

Films shot from my Olympus OM10.

After I took some shots in this area, I decided to go a little bit further and I found out that the other side of the beach is much better than the first one.

I told my companions about it and invited them for a swim but the waves the other side of the beach were pretty strong that day. Also, this beach side was still pretty dirty. That's why didn't swim anymore and just took pictures.

Then just before we left the place, here's another doggo we found in Bali! Hihi. 🐶
After Padang Padang Beach, we headed to Gravity hotel next, which was just 5 minutes away from the said beach. Upon driving our way there, Made told us that it's still about 20 minutes to reach it. I tried to Waze it and found out that it was just really near. Made was kinda hesitant but he still followed my Waze. And Waze said that it was just 3-5 minutes away. That's why when we reached it, he asked me to double check first from the receptionist. Hehe.

And guess what, this was really not it! Made was right! Hahaha. But waittt! When I asked about the Gravity hotel, I was told that it was just beside this restaurant. Hehehe.
I just walked back again to the car and told them that the Gravity hotel is the one of my left. Hihi.

So heeere.. welcome to Gravity! 😍
Say hi to our welcome drink which was so good! It was like a Mojito minus the alcohol content of it.
We actually arrived pretty early in Gravity. It was only 12:30PM then and the check-in time is actually at 2PM. I tried to ask if we could check-in already since we're only staying until 6:30PM. But unfortunately, there were still some guests inside the rooms that we'll be staying in.

Upon checking in, I was also informed that the rooms were only good for 4 pax, yet I registered 5 pax. And they were asking us to pay an additional fee, but of course.. I bargained and told them that were not even staying the night there. Might as well, we shouldn't pay for it anymore. Thank, God that they agreed! They only lessen the number of breakfast that we should have gotten. But I think, it's fair enough. That breakfast though became dinner by the way, and I also bargained about it prior to getting here. Hahaha. Hayyy.. I'm just thankful that all the favors that I ask are always agreed on. Hehe.

Moving on.. you can see that the rating of this hotel is 9.5 in Booking.com. And that's a major plus for checking-in here! Hihi.

However, there are certain policies in this place that you might kinda like and dislike.

1.) You are not allowed to take pictures outside your room if there are people in it.
2.) They don't have an intercom here that's why if there's any request coming from you, you have to contact the staff through WhatsApp. How millenial, right? LOL.

After an hour of waiting, we decided to dip in the pool already. And just minutes after, we're finally checking in! Hihihi.

OMG!!! IT'S SO BEAUTIFUL! I WANNA CRY! HUHUHU! 😍😍😍

After swimming, we just rested and I took that opportunity as well to take pictures since there were no guests around, besides us.

Here's our roommm! Hihihi.

Look at the interior! So so so aesthetically beautiful! Huhuhu.

And here's our bedroom at the loft. Hihi. 😍
I went around and visited my friends' room as well. And this was theirs:

It was also so beautifulll! Huhuhu.

The shower ceiling is open. And you can just look at the sky while taking a shower. Hehe.

Here was their terrace. And look at that table! Yay! 😍
View of the pool from their room.
For lunch, we just had these:

Quesadillas and fries.

And our ultimate favorite - Mi Goreng. Hehehe.
There are actually 3 swimming pools in Gravity. And here are they:

Pool number 1.

Pool number 2.

Pool number 3.

Ain't it so beautiful?! 😍😍😍

After swimming, we just rested and waited for 6PM as we were about to check out at that time.

One last hug for the place! Hihi.

Goodbye, Gravity! You are so beautiful! Hope I can visit you again. 😚

Then finally, we hit the road going to Ngurah Rai airport. And this is what traffic looks like in Bali. It's pretty much similar to ours. We just also got surprised that it only took us 30 minutes from Gravity to the airport. I thought it'll take us an hour an a half to get there. If we only knew it, we could have spent an hour or so in Gravity. But oh well.. at least we arrived early at the airport.
Thank you, Made for being a wonderful and kind driver! We wouldn't be able to go to the places that are on our list without your help. Thanks for tirelessly driving for us! It was your first time to some of the places that we've been, but you never said no to any of it. Hihi. May God bless you more and your family! 💕

Then this is it! Laters, Bali! 🇮🇩

Dufry Shops - short for Duty Free Shops. Mehehe.

Some snacks time before flying back home.

At hindi talaga ako maka-get over sa P235.00 na bottled water na 'to. Anak ng tokwa! Huuu!

The Bali Crew killing time while waiting for our boarding gate number to be flashed on screen. And it was only flashed 30 minutes before our flight. Kamusta naman! Lakas maka-panic nun ha!

Look the airport's ceiling, it's filled with artworks. Hihi.

Tapos may na-spottan ako na foreigner na humiga na lang sa sahig. Hahaha. Hindi ba madumi jan, kyah? Kaloka.

Huhuhu. Bye, Bali! Until we meet again. 😬

Then after more than 3 hours of flight, hello Manila! Mabuhay! 🇵🇭

And look at this mural that I saw at our airport. Amazing! 😍

Also this jeepney that represents our culture. Hihi. There are actually a lot more of this but I was too groggy to take a picture of them all. Huhu. I'm sorry..
