Exploring Bataan With Tropang Take-out

Hello, blogging world! I missed you a lot! I have finally convinced myself to blog again. Hihi.

Today, I'm going to share about my 2-day vacay with my dear highschool friends last April of this year. 💚

So, last April, one of my highschool friends went back home here in the Philippines for a vacation. And of course, we made time to see each other, bond, catch up and have some fun. The last time that he came back from the states, we went to Tagaytay City actually. While a few years prior to that, we went for a dinner in BGC. And the list goes on. But this time that he was here, we went to a beach. (Level up na kami, guyth! Haha.) Special thank you to Jas for organizing everything! Natuloy rin tayo, sa wakas! 😀

On a Wednesday, we decided to have this overnight outing in Brisa Marina Beachfront Resort Bataan.

The boys and girls have fetched me somewhere in Pampanga because I was the only who came from Manila. All of them came from Bulacan and Nueva Ecija. Huhu. But I love that it only took me (almost) 2 hours from Mandaluyong to meet them in Pampanga. Early morning travels are just love because there wasn't a heavy traffic!

Going on, our first stop was to buy some drinks and food that we could snack on while at the beach. And what followed next is to have breakfast. 🍳

Had our breakfast in McDo. 🍟

Then, we decided to get some to-go Starbucks drinks c/o Jas & Joma. Thank you, you guys! 💚

Our second stop was finally in Bataan already. Our balikbayan friend, Joma wanted to visit some cave in Bataan, that's why we gave it a go. I wasn't really expecting much of the place but boy oh boy, it was beautiful! 😍

The place is called Sugong Cave in Bagac, Bataan.

We actually had a hard time looking for it because it wasn't waze-able. That's why we just relied on the townspeople along the road to ask. While most of the people we have asked had no idea of the place or the cave that we were asking about. Thank, God that we were still able to find it! Talk about navigation skills and instinct. Char!

Then, here we were, bargaining about the boat price. Mehehe.

It was such a fine sunny day then. And there were only few people at the place that time. Kaya ang saya lang! 😁

We just changed to our swimming clothes when we arrived there. And mind you, the struggle was real! Haha. The struggle was real because almost all of the changing area/restroom has fees! And being the cheapo we are, we opted to change inside the free ones of course. That free meant - restrooms that are super small, plus there wasn't even a light inside. Bahaha. Brownout lang ang peg! Kukuripot niyo kasi. LOL.

Before heading to the boat, it's picture time with these beautiful ladies. 💚

On the boat now with the Tropang Take-out. We miss you, Bert and Yna! 💚

Happy to be with you again, Sadya! 💚

Happy to see you too, Lemmy! It's been years since we last saw each other! 💚

Before finally docking in Sugong Cave, we took the opportunity to take some pictures. 📷

O, diba! Pakkk!

Welcome toooo... Sugong Cave!

Look at the crystal clear water! 🌊

And this is actually the cave slash lagoon.

Group picture with the crew. 💚

Plus there were kids who were jumping in the lagoon that day. Yay!

Some more pictures of us! 😬

Gaganda nung mga shots nung mga baklang 'to! At sobrang linaw talaga nung tubig, you guys. 😍

And a picture from this beautiful couple too. 💕
After an hour or less than hour at the lagoon, we decided to leave and try the island hopping that was said to be included with our tour.

LOL. Nag-kuripot na naman po kami. Kamusta naman. Haha.

Pero ang ganda nyaaa. 😍😍😍

Kaya picture-picture na lang ulit. 😬

Then, kaunting swimming. Haha.

Linaw nung tubig! Huhu.

Last but not the least, another island to visit!
nothing much naman.

Then goodbye, Sugong Cave and island hopping real quick! And hello Brisa Marina! 😬

But first, lunch. Hehe.

Then, checking-in followed. 😬

Look at our room's view... isn't it lovely? 😍😍😍

Even our room's interior is such a beaut already! 😍

Late that afternoon, we decided to take some pictures. Haha.

Our beautiful Dra. Tacha.

Some beer time before sunset. 🍻

And finally, here's the golden hour. ✨

After sunset, we just dipped in the pool, had dinner and did our kwentuhan sessions with manggang hilaw and bagoong. Haha.

We didn't have much pictures that night dahil busy na sa kwentuhan and pagoda na rin. Haha. So, here are some pictures of us na lang the next day. 😬

Breakfast toiiime kasama ang cupcakes and cup noodles na ginrocery! ☕️ Gusto mo 'yon? Gusto ko 'yonnn! Haha. For 2 heads lang kasi yung breakfast. Kaloka. 😞

Colorful souvenirs. 😍
Then beach tambay before checking out. 🏖
Ice drop kayo diyan... to beat the heat! ☀️

Swimming muna ang childhood BFFs. Yiii! 😉

We had our late lunch in Vista Mall before heading home. Haha.

And awww.. last group picture for the day. 😞

Thank you guys for the great weekend getaway! These are truly the moments that one shall not miss. Miss and love you all, guyth! Until next time! 💚💚💚
