Day 1-2 In Liwa

Hello, blog world! I missed you! I super missed writing, honestly! And today, I'm going to share about our 1 week stay in Liw-Liwa, San Felipe, Zambales last May 30 to June 6, 2021.

We left at past 10PM from Metro Manila and we stopped by Shell NLEX to eat some food and surprise Pam for her birthday. Birthday salubong it is! 🥳

Day 1 

Happy birthday, Pam! 🎂

After more than 4 hours of drive + the very strict checkpoint, we finally arrived in Liw-Liwa!

Staying here at Kwentong Dagat and we're super duper grateful for Alex (one of the owners) for accommodating us! 🥰 

Alex was away and he told me that breakfast is already ready. Full onboard meals are included with our stay by the way.

But we decided to have a full meal breakfast instead that's why we went to Mommy Phoebe's.

After breakfast, we just went back to Kwentong Dagat and decided to chill & take a nap at their gazebo. We couldn't enter our booked room yet because Kwentong Dagat was fully booked that time. Originally, we we're supposed to check-in at 2PM but we got lucky because a group of guests had checked-out early. That's why we were able to check-in as early as 11:30AM with no additional charge. So, yay! 😬

Coincidence that my friends had the same bag color. Haha. 2 of it were from same brand and same model. Same everything! Hahaha.

Then after we checked-in, one of the staff knocked our door and had told us that it's already lunch time. There was this tent dining area that they have and all of the guests eats there which I find cute because it reminded me of my dorm days!

Also, I should not forget to mention that Kwentong Dagat only serves vegan food and they're so delicious. As in!

After we had lunch, we all decided to sleep. Then by 5PM, we all woke-up and decided to go to the beach and have snacks at Mommy Phoebe's again. Hehe.


I had burger and shake as my snacks. Sorry, no picture of it!

Then, we headed back to the beach to watch the sunset.

Day 2

Good morning, Kwentong Dagat, you beautiful beach resort! 😍

Justine decided to play football that afternoon and grabe lang yung pagod and hingal ko mga bes!



Then, we decided to have some beer part 2 at Rucca.

Mother's Day Special

After years and years of missing a Mother's Day Celebration with my mom, finally, my work schedule has somehow permitted me to celebrate it with her. Yay to that!  Oh, just please allow me to share this little rant of mine. Prior to celebrating it with her, I only had 3 precious hours of sleep because I worked on a graveyard shift the night before this. So, hello zombieland on a friggin' hot afternoon! But the heck I care, it's Mother's Day! So I shouldn't worry about anything, right? :)  So there, I battled the extreme weather, the Manila traffic and all, to have lunch with my fam bam who went all the way to Manila from Bulacan. Elyu 2023

  Ola banana! My gosh. Has it been that long? No blog for almost 6 months? LOL. Sometimes, I just don't have time to write even I badly want to. Anyways, so here's a recent ganap which happened just last month - April 9-10, 2023 (Sunday-Monday). Together with my highschool friends, I and my husband went to La Union! Hooray! Nakakamiss rin namang gumala with the peoplets. My last outing with them was 2018 pa . Our outing fell on a Sunday -- which is actually Easter Sunday. Before our gala, one of us thought of attending a Mass on our way to La Union. Luckily for us that we found a Church along the way, that's kinda near our destination actually. I think, it was an hour or less than an hour before our destination. Our destination by the way is, San Juan (the surf town of La Union). Here's a photo of us inside the Church. Grabe.
