Puesto Del Sol - A Photo Diary

I know that it's the rainy season now. Hehe. But I still want to share this beautiful place in Calatagan, Batangas that my sister discovered.  In case that you want to do a short escapade outside the congested Metro Manila, I think this is the place to be. Their internet connection here is superb as well! So, office friends, alam niyo na ha. Charot!

DISCLAIMER: The place is just a RESORT not a beach resort. And it's situated in an overlooking area. You can still go to the beach though but you just have to drive.

Without any further ado, let me take you there now. Hihi.

En route with my sister and her boyfriend.

Our view on the way. We're pretty close the area according to Waze. Yas!

Just a few minutes later, here we are now! 😬

The name of the place is Puesto Del Sol.

And we went here during the Lenten week as a pre-birthday celebration too of my sister's birthday.

Let's go inside now. :D

Overlooking pool. Hihi.

Now, picture yourself chilling here. Hehe.

Here are some of their villas.

Casa Cristina.
P8,000.00 per night. Good for 8 pax.

We arrived pretty early at the place, as early as 10AM! Hahaha. And the check-in time is at 2PM. Since we just really want to rest and didn't want to go elsewhere, we just waited until our check-in time came in. I think, we were able to check-in at past 12PM. Big thanks to the kind staff of Puesto Del Sol for making it possible! Hihi.

Then, while waiting, we just chilled here at the gazebo and had our brunch.

Iced teas as our refreshment.

Cutie keychains.

And the food that we orderd for brunch - rice, chopsuey, spaghetti.

... fish and Bicol Express my fave! Haha.

Just scroll down to see more of the place. Bilang wala naman akong magawa, nagpicture na lang ako ng nagpicture, for the blog and for memorabilia. Hehe.

By the way, the place is pet-friendly. That's why we chose this place over the beach areas in Calatagan.

Cool tumbler of my sister's boyfriend.

FAST FORWARD.

As soon as we checked in, we took a nap inside the room. And look at my sister and her beloved dog. They're so cuuute! Mehehe.

Then.. Good afternoon, Puesto Del Sol! You are so beautiful!

I took a lot of pictures again and did some pictorials. LOLLL.

Love this corner though! Hehe.

Yours truly wearing @shopdonagets (Instagram) earrings. Mehehe.

My sexy sister. Whoot!

My beautiful mama who just love being outdoors. Mehehe.

With Burgerrito.

O! Pakkk! Itsura mo! Hahaha.

My sister and I.

And for merienda, we had:

Pancit Canton. Yummm!

Chicken and Spaghetti for the kiddos.

And french fries as well.

After we had our merienda, we went back to the swimming pool and dipped again until the sunset came. Graaabe lungs! Sobrang perfect ng sunset dun. Huhu. Scroll down niyo na lang and be the judge. Hihi.

Head shot of yours truly featuring the beautiful sunset.
Dear Lord, You are so amazing! <3

Then, evening came. Inatake na ko ng migraine, kaya I only have these 2 pictures. Super enjoy kami sa place kasi may sounds rin playing around. So, it wasn't a boring weekend talaga.

Then there's Kuya Nice chillin'. Hehe.

Una, Donelle, Burger and Don.

Moving on now, here are my shots now during our 2nd day at the place. And later on, we checked out already.

One of their staff, cleaning the pool area.

And that's me chilling out there. LOL.

Minutes after, it's chibugan time again! Haha. Breakfast toiiime!

Rice.

Longganisa.

Eggs.

Then, we dipped in the pool again. Hahaha! Sulit na sulit talaga sa amin yung pool, you guys. LOL.

At nagmaganda na naman si ateng niyo, nagpicture na naman po ng nagpicture. Hahaha!

Una with her new found playmate.

And her playmate has this cute shark toy which we borrowed. Hehe.

Then there was a tatay who went all the way the resort just to sell ice cream. Huhu. EFFORT! Kaya kahit maaga pa para mag-ice cream, sige support lang tayo kay tatay. :D

Another thing that made my heart melt was this little gift that the Puesto Del Sol management gave us because one of the rooms that we booked had a malfunctioning TV. They were so sorry for it, that they gave us this Deka Chocolate Roll to compensate for it. Huhu. That's so sweet of them! Sana oil! LOL. Well, not every management will do this act of kindness, right? That's why super thank you to them! <3

Read. Hehe.

As we're about to check out the place, just please enjoy these last pictures that I took - including the Casita (Kubo room) that we booked that weekend.

There's the gazebo we stayed at yesterday.

Here's the Casita (Kubo room) that we booked. P4,800 per night. 4 pax with breakfast.

We booked 2 of this by the way.

(c) Puesto Del Sol's website.

Washing area in case you'll be bringing your own food. But of course, there's a corkage fee.

There's a balcony outside the room where you can chill and dry yourself after swimming in the pool. Hehe.

Then, alas! We're going home now.

Laters, Puesto Del Sol! Thanks for a lovely weekend!

Posting this beautiful tree. Wala lang. Hehe.

We passed by Tagaytay City as we went home and we stopped for some pasalubong-buying. Hehe

And my sweet mom got us this! Hihi. Cheese Roll from Bag of Beans that are super yummy!

Also, flex ko lang itong mga gamit ko na gifted by my friends. Haha. Nakakatuwa lang kasi. Hihi. Hindi ko na kayo mention, guyth. Alam nyo na kung sino kayo. Haha. Thank you for theeese! <3

Then, that's all for now folks!

Sorry, I couldn't share all the expenses we had during this day because this was all sponsored by my mom and my sister. Haha.

My verdict for the place is 4.5 out of 5. The missing .5 could have been for a better bathroom. Hehe. Because some of the things in our Casita's bathroom were pretty old already like the mirror. Hehe. But nonetheless, everything's superb - the place itself, cleanliness, service, food, staff and managament.

Love it here and I'll definitely go back if I get the chance to!

They also hold weddings here in case you're looking for a destination wedding  venue.

If you want to know more about this, here's their website.

Thank you for reading and see you on my next blog!

Cheers,
Dona
