Tagaytay Roadtrip 2021

On a weekend, I, together with my office friends have went to
Tagaytay City. It was kinda-unplanned. Basta nagmessage-an lang kami 3 days before Saturday then go na kami. Haha. We left the Metro at past 7AM and arrived in Tagaytay at almost 10AM.

Our itinerary was as simple as this:
- breakfast in Tagaytay
-then go to Nasugbu to visit JM's prospect land

We had our breakfast here at Ka Tunying's:

When we arrived, we saw Ka Tunying himself. Swerte namin! Haha. We chatted with him and had a picture taken with him of course. He is very kind in person and looks like he really alots time talking to his customers per table. :)

The Kaladkarins - RJ, Dona and Con.

After having breakfast, we all decided to go to People's Park.

Uphill, waiting for JM to turn off his car's hazard. Haha.

Then, here's a photo of us after an uphill hike to the highest part of People's Park:

Kunwari hindi kami hiningal. Haha.

Turista shot. Wuahaha.

Picture-an daw kami ni JM. Thank you, Jay sa pagkaladkad sa amin! Haha.

JM's sister, JM and his wifey. :)

JM and Pam. :)

Sobrang hangin talaga, guyth! Haha.

Group photo. <3

Ice cream break before heading to our next destination in spite of the cold weather! Haha.

Our next destination was at Lime and Basil for lunch.

Originally, we were to eat lunch at Java Jazz but it was already closed when we got there, like for good. And it was too bad for us because we haven't tried it yet. Ever! We heard from our friends, Jac & Ivan that their food is good. Huhu. Sayang talaga!

Anyway, we missed Lime And Basil rin naman! Actually nga, yun nga yung top restaurant na naisip ko to eat at for lunch. Haha.

This is a Basil leaf and one of the manongs from Lime and Basil allowed me to pick and smell this. :) Thank you manong!

Tambay muna while waiting for our seats.

Another leaf which I forgot the name of. LOL.

Lime and Basil menu.

And we're seated now! :)

One thing that I love about Lime and Basil are their displays. 😍

Wash area and plants outside. 🥰

Then, here's their library/store:

Then, eating time! Too bad that I only have these pictures. Sa sobrang gutom, hindi ko na napicture-an lahat. Haha.

I love this pitcher! 😬

PAD THAI. OMG. I super love this!

After we had our lunch, we decided to go to Nasugbu because JM wanted to check out the land that he was eyeing for.

Trustwave peeps.

Hello from us with baby Kidlat. 😬

Inabot na kami ng gabi sa Nasugbu and we thought, mag-overnight na kami kila Jac and doon na mag-dinner. What is biglaan?! Super unprepared kami! Haha.

Touched down, Avila's Residences.

Hello from me and Hunter! 🤗

At 1:35AM, here Hunter was, watching us, as we sleep soundly. Haha. Hay nako, Hunter! I miss you so bad! I wish you didn't go to heaven that early. Huhu. 💔

The next day, we headed straight to Cecilia's Buko Pie bilang naubusan na kami when we were buying last night. As in lahat ng branches na dinaanan namin, ubos na talaga. Boo-hoo!

After buying Buko Pies and pasalubongs, we went to Tsokolateria to have breakfast.

We parked here in Ayala Malls Serin since there's no available parking anymore in Tsokolateria.

The waiting game begins.

Here we are now, seated and checking their menu! 😬

RJ and Con.

The yummy Tsokolate eh. 😋

A solo picture of yours truly. 😉

Sardines pasta for moi.

The couples - JM & Pam. ☺️

RJ's fake proposal. Hahaha.

Buffet table. Lol.

Picture with the Tagaytay Gang. 💕

Only 2 persons were allowed to eat per table that's why here, kami ang partners that morning. Hehe.

Beautiful Poinsettia. 😍

I had so much fun with this weekend getaway that we had! I haven't seen them in more than a month, maybe that's why. Iba talaga yung feeling bonding with your friends. Haha. A fresher fresher air to breathe in!

Thank, God for this kind of opportunity, for keeping us safe and for making us still alive in spite of the pandemic.

Let's always be cautious when going out, practice safety protocols, have enough sleep, eat healthy food and take multivitamins!

All my love,
Dona
