Bridal Shower At Lotuspod

Three months ago, I and my college sisters/dormmates have hosted a bridal shower for a dearest sister/friend of ours, Razel. And the venue was at Lotuspod Bed And Breakfast in Sta. Cruz, Laguna.

Razel is actually based in US and her wedding will be in 5 days from this very day. And it was so sweet of her because she gave us 2 days of her schedule in spite of how busy she was for her wedding. Hihi. We love you, Potseng!

Maybe you are wondering why we held the bridal shower in a kinda far place. πŸ˜… And there are only two simple answers to that - 1) it's because we all love pretty places and 2) we love taking pictures. πŸ“· Hehehe. Plus the fact that Razel prefers bridal showers like this - intimate which means more time for bonding and catching up! Hihi. Huge thanks to Fea for booking this place and for the pledges of our other sizzums! πŸ’• All of this wouldn't be possible if not for you, FG! Huhu. WE TERRIBLY MISS YOU ALL! 😭

Alright, enough of blabbering and let the blogging roll! 😬

We arrived at Lotuspod Bed And Breakfast at around 15:00-ish, where we left Pasig City at past 12PM.

And let me take you to the place now:

Lobby entrance door.

Lotuspod's pretty lobby. 😍

Eco-friendly merch that you can buy.

Us, 3. Missing other FG! Huhu.

And welcome to our villa now!

Mini spa/pool outside our villa.

Then, we're off to exploring more of this beautiful place. 😍

Us, 3. Hihi. Love you bothhh! πŸ’š

SNACKS TIME.

It was so cute of Lotuspod to include full onboarded meals for us, guests like us in particular. Included in those meals were these: snacks, dinner and breakfast. And all of these came in together with our accommodation. Hihi.

Dining hall/area. So relaxing! πŸ˜ Parang ang sarap mag-siesta na lang. LOL.

Turon for snacks. Non noms!

This cute wash area though. Hihi.

Always snacking. Haha. Charot! Labyu, Potseng and Pi!

Feels like in Bali! Yay!
After eating snacks, we went around the place again and took more pictures. 😬

Razel and yours truly.

Then minutes later, we saw this:

Beautiful chaos.

We got contacted by our families and friends that the Taal Volcano has erupted while we were here. And we're not sure why but we didn't even feel any signs of the eruption while we were here.

Unaware of what's happening outside
like the ash fall, earthquake and all, we just continued enjoying the place because we all thought that everything is still normal, like how it looked inside Lotuspod.

Hence, the pictures.

Thank you timer shot for this photo. Haha.

And here are some of the pictures from this very memorable night:

Surprise bridal dinner for our dearest Tetel! πŸ’•

Our lovely bride-to-be.

Us 3 at a very romantic dinner. Mihihi.

This Maja Blanca is for the win! 😍

Later that night, we also made another surprise for Razel. Hihi. We decorated our villa with some bridal decorations and took lotsa pictures with it! 😬

To our dearest Tetel, we appreciate that you were enjoying these times in spite of all. πŸ’•

Then after our 2nd surprise for Razel, Fea had treated us for a night spa. OMGoshhh! I still dream of this spa until now! Haha. 🀩 Sobrang sarap nung massage! Thank you so much, Pi for thinking of this and for treating us here! I owe you forever! πŸ’•

NEXT DAY.

We just woke up that almost everything has turned gray here in Lotuspod. It was due to the ash fall that was caused by Taal Volcano. πŸ₯Ί Other places have encountered the ash fall a day before this but in Lotuspod, it was the next day.

GRABE LANG! TOTALLY UNBELIEVABLE! Of all days, weeks, months and years, bakit ngayon pa nangyari ang lahat na 'to? Kung kailan namang malapit na yung kasal ng kaibigan namin. Huhuhu. 😭

Anyway, we were all going home by the way.

Then the next thing that followed was: we prepared for the day and had our breakfast before checking out.

And here's our breakfast that day:

Fruits on the side - Banana, Watermelon and Mango.

Fried rice.

Hot choco.

Sunny side up eggs, Danggit, Tocino, etc.

Our villa has its own spa by the way and you can you use those Bakya/slippers actually. For free! Hihi.

And after all of these, we went home already because there are so much stuff that Razel has to take care of. Huhu. I'm just super glad and thankful that her wedding still pushed through despite of all the mishaps that happened.

Sobrang bilib lang rin ako with our bride-to-be because she, her hubby, their families and their suppliers were still able to pull off such a beautiful wedding (which I also blogged about here)! From Tagaytay City to Pampanga real quick. And all the changes happened in just a matter of 4 days. πŸ™ŒπŸΌImagine that?!

To our dearest Ri/Potseng and the rest of FG, thank you so much for helping us with this beautiful bridal shower for Razel. We super missed you all! And we can't help but wish na sana nandito rin kayo

I love you forever, FG!

See you all soon! πŸ’šπŸ’šπŸ’š

Hugs and kisses,
Dona
