Post-birthday In Elyu (Day 1)

Funny as it may sound but I'm wearing a beach attire while writing this blog. Hahaha. A swimsuit top, tank top & shorts. Trololol. Summer feels at home! 'Coz why not? 🤣

Anyway highway, this is a pretty overdue post already. But it's better to be late than never, right?

So, here you go.

Two days after my birthday, I and my work friends decided to go to La Union for 3 days - to work, celebrate my birthday and ituloy na finally yung napaka-tagal ng drawing na Elyu na 'to! Hahaha! Don't worry about our work, legal naman siya, guys. We asked for our manager's permission about it. And totoong nagtrabaho kami sa La Union. Hihi. 😬 (Special thanks to our manager! Lablab, madam! 💕)

Parang work and play yung nangyari because we'll usually work/attend meetings in the morning ➡️ have our breakfast ➡️ work ➡️ have our lunch by the beach (hello, Coast Call!) ➡️ then work again. And after working, beach mode na kami then konting inom by night time. 😊 Talk about YOLO! Totoo naman kasi, we only live once. And we only get to be young once in our lives, so might as well, have fun and make the most of it. Tama ba ako dun? Amen! 😉

Going back to our itinerary...

We left at 5AM on February 19th from Metro Manila. And we arrived here in Pampanga at past 7AM for a stopover and a coffee break.

Hello from Jona and Con! 👋🏼
Coffee break at no other than.. dan na na nan - Starbucks! Haha.

Just sharing some cute merch from Starbucks that day.

(Sorry na, mahilig talaga ako magpicture ng pretty stuff eh. 😅)

This coffee packaging though.

As we hit back the road, we spotted this Macao Imperial Tea shop when we arrived at the town of La Union.

Don JM and his mais. Hahaha!

Luh. Pagod na rin si teddy bear.

Stretchings daw muna. 😉

Then back to hitting the road to Surfers Villa in La Union where we'll be staying for 3 days.

Shout out to my cousin, Bryan Fernandez. Dahil sa IGS mo, nakita ko yung accommodation na 'to. And panalo yung internet speed nila. Kinaya yung work namin which demands fast internet speed. Haha. Thank you thank you! 💕

Not my coffee. I ordered the mofo Yuzu Cold Brew one. Hahaha.

Grabe yung lasa nun eh, pinag-sama yung asim ng citrus & pait! Lech! 🤣

Moving on..

A few minutes more, here we are now at the famous Elyu! *happy dance*

FIRST ORDER OF BUSINESS: Have lunch here at JM's favorite - Olas Banditos. Miss na daw niya yung burrito dito eh. 😬

While waiting for our food to arrive, I just looked around and took some pictures which my sister will surely love. Hehe.

Ola from us! 👋🏼

Habol pa ng pizza kasi gutom pa kami. Hahaha!

After having lunch, we already checked-in.

Welcome to Surfers Villa, folks! 🏄🏽‍♀️🌿

Oh, how relaxing this place is! 😍

A hammock right in front of our villa. Yeyyy! 😬

Common bathrooms.
Then, work mode now while having fun. Hihi.

I love this picture! Hehe.

Then, I also bought this birthday cake of mine nga pala. It's one of the best red velvet cakes that I've tasted so far! Thanks to my bestfriends, Fea & Mika for this! Hihi. 💕

Then just before sunset, we decided to go outside.

A terrace beside our villa. 😍

View outside our villa.

Picture time, Team Elyu! 😬

Then more pictures of Surfers Villa's surroundings. 🌿

 Hitting the beach in 5.. 4.. 3.. 2.. 1..

Nice, bike! 👌🏽 That establishment at the right is the famous Kabsat restaurant.

Ready to do some beachin' now. 😬
Wuhoo! DAGAT! DAGAAAT! 😍

Then we decided to go to the shops that my sister had asked me to go to. She was asking me to buy a sunblock and some bracelets na dito lang sa Elyu or Siargao lang mabibili. So sige, go!

And a huge thank you to my very supportive friends! Kahit ang layo ng nilakad namin, game pa rin sila. 💕

Us and the beach.

Hi, Donelle! Haha.

Hi, Jieps and Balengs! Dito tayo kumain ng burger 3 years ago. Hihi. Missing you both! 💕

Meanwhile, tusok-tusok break muna. 😬

Hahaha. Labyu, RJ!

We stopped by here in San Juan Surf Resort first, where that special sunblock is being sold. LOL.

Talo. Sarado na pala by the time that we arrived. It was 5:30PM na kasi. Aga mag-sara 'no? And IDK why, sa bagay.. iba rin kasi ang oras sa province eh. Hihi.

With that, sunset watching muna. ☺️

Then we headed back to the beach side near our villa.

Sunset watching pa rin kami then stargazing + some music and kwentuhan. Ang ganda ng music namin eh, Nina! Hahaha. Please don't judge! Gusto na nga namin mag-videoke the next day dahil kay Nina eh. LOL.

Some sunset pictures:

After stargazing, it's dinner time at Kabsat! And thanks to our ever-foodie friend, Con. She's the one who knew about this place.

Masarap naman yung food, ang konti nga lang ng servings. Hehe.

What happened next was: we just boozed that night, beer lang and tamang kwentuhan, ganern. 😬

RJ and Jonabels. 💕

We had fun with our endless kwentuhans and some asarans over beer. Haha. Too bad that Kabsat closes at 12AM. Kabitin! Pero yung yung totoo, we left at 12:30AM already. LOL. Wala eh, weekday kasi kaya maaga talaga nagsasara yung mga restos.

And that's it for our day 1. 😊

I have also blogged already about our day 2 and day 3 in Elyu. But I just have to cut it here because I felt that this post is too long already. Mehehe.

So, ayun..

Thank you for reading and have a nice day!

Toodles,
Dona
